We can’t say enough about our experience at Oribe’s on the Road show
on July 20th, 2015 here in Seattle! Chromatique was not only front row, but
backstage as well! Ronnie Stam, Kien Hoang, and Louis Orozco brought us not
only amazing hair fit for a Vogue cover, but the inspiration to bring an avant
garde style to the clients in our chairs. We saw 1960’s inspired bouffants andimage3image2
Kien Hoang recreated New York Fashion Week’s alien pony tail. Colby Alcantar
gave an amazing razored unstructured pixie cut that had us all drooling over this season’s it girl haircut. Chromatique Salon’s own Elle Levine and Cassie Hackett were chosen hand picked by Oribe to work with Kien Hoang. Bringing his vision to life they created Lana Del Rey inspired sultry cat eyes with amazing dewy skin and the  coolest geographic stark shapes to the eyes. “It was truly such an honor to work with these amazing artists,” says Elle Levine. “These opportunities inspire us so much and make us so excited to be apart of such an amazing company that is Oribe.”
Not only did we get to witness the magic onstage, we actually got our
hands in the hair and recreated the “alien pony”. All of the Oribe Educators left
the stage to show us how to do this oh so cool take on a ponytail. After we made
our models looking like they came off the runway, we sipped champagne,
mingled with Oribe’s best, and left with our artistic hearts fulfilled.
