We all have that friend who we’re dying to make over. The one who has the same hairstyle since the day we met them, who refuses to wear anything other than mascara, but who is brimming with potential.

For me, that person is my sister. Maren has long dark hair, a gorgeous slim figure, and immaculate complexion. Obviously, she doesn’t need makeup or fancy hairstyles – but that didn’t stop me from wanting to dress her up and put all my makeup on her when we were kids. That impulse has continued as we grow into our 20s.
